Editorial Policy

How we source, write, and review content on Job Alert & Career.

Our Editorial Standards

We aim to publish job listings and career content that is accurate, useful, and genuinely helpful to job seekers. This page explains how our content is created, sourced, and reviewed.

1. Job Listings

Every job listing published on this site is reviewed by our team before going live. We check that:

  • The listing includes a genuine job title, company name, and location
  • The posting does not ask candidates to pay any fee to apply or to be considered
  • Listings are removed or marked inactive once a role's application deadline has passed, or once we're informed the position is filled

We are not the employer for any listed position, and application decisions are made entirely by the hiring company.

2. Blog & Career Advice Content

Articles published on our blog are written or reviewed by our editorial team with the goal of giving practical, actionable career advice — covering topics like interview preparation, resume writing, and job search strategy. Where an article references a specific technique, statistic, or outside source, we aim to keep that information current and will correct inaccuracies once identified.

3. Corrections

If you notice an error in a job listing or blog article — outdated information, a broken link, or factual mistake — please let us know through our Contact Us page. We review and correct verified errors promptly.

4. Editorial Independence

Our blog content and job listing reviews are not influenced by advertisers. Any sponsored or paid content (if published in the future) will be clearly labelled as such.

5. Author Attribution

Blog articles are credited to their author. You can view all articles by a specific author on their author page.

6. Services We Offer

In addition to editorial content, we offer paid services — including interview preparation coaching and CV/resume writing — described in full on our Services page. These services are delivered by our team on a best-effort basis and are separate from our editorial job listings and blog content.
